Full Member

Requirements: Possess a Doctoral degree or a Master's degree in psychology or related field from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association.

Cost: $295/year

Sustaining Member

Requirements: Possess a Doctoral degree or a Master's degree in psychology or related field from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association. Increased membership dues include additional benefits.

Requirements: Psychologist within 10 years of graduating

Academic Member

Requirements: Possess a Doctoral degree or a Master's degree in psychology or related field from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association. Must only be engaged in teaching, research, or administration at an academic institution and not engaged in more than five hours per week of clinical practice of psychology.

Requirements: Degree-holding individuals from a variety of disciplines who have a special interest in psychology and are not qualified for Full Membership (e.g. LPCC, LMFT, LICSW, LAMFT, LGSW, LPC, BA, MSW, MA).

Requirements: Actively engaged in the formal study of psychology  at either the graduate or undergraduate level and who are not otherwise engaged in the practice of psychology and/or qualified for Full Membership.

* MPA is aware of the financial obligations that students face; therefore, students who cannot afford the yearly dues will be able to opt out of this charge due to financial hardship without any questions asked by entering discount code Student0 when completing the membership form.

 

Financial Hardship
Please note that reduced dues are available for financial hardship or permanent and total disability. Full, Sustaining, Academic and Associate Members who cannot pay their regular MPA dues because of financial hardship may pay $79 and continue as members.
